Devils Loan Sharangovich to Dinamo Minsk

In some roster news out of the “Inside the Devils Blog” on the Devils’ official website, Amanda Stein is reporting that Egor Sharangovich is being loaned to Dinamo Minsk of the KHL.

Sharangovich, a 22-year-old forward prospect, “played with Minsk before joining the Binghamton Devils for the 2018-19 season” according to Stein. She said that he previously played in “47 KHL games with four goals and 8 assists.”

Stein said that in two years down in AHL Binghamton, Sharangovich has appeared in “125 games, scored 19 goals and contributed 42 assists.”

The article by Stein notes that he “will be recalled prior to the start of the 2020-21 NHL training camp, which has a tentative November 17th start date.”

Because of the late start to the 2020-21 NHL season (December 1is the date being targeted by the league); this is likely a conditioning thing to get Sharangovich some playing time. If you will recall, the KHL canceled the rest of the 2019-20 Gagarin Cup playoffs, so they will likely be starting at their regular August/September start dates for camps and the regular season as the KHL starts sooner than the NHL and ends earlier in the Spring.
