Devils Beach Bash to Take Place at Jenkinson’s

The Devils will be hosting a fun event on August 20 starting at 12 noon at Jenkinson’s Beach & Boardwalk in Point Pleasant Beach. It will be open to all and should be a fun day out for any fan, especially those with families.

The event, according to the Devils’ official website will feature alumni Ken Daneyko, Bryce Salvador and Bruce Driver, “special guests for games, music, food and fun” and other activities all on the beach.

According to the Devils’ site, they are teaming with New Jersey radio stations WDHA 105.5 FM and WRAT 95.9 FM to bring Beach Bash to the Shore. With the radio stations, “there will be exclusive contests, promotions and content.” WRAT disc jockey Carl Craft will broadcast from the event from 12 to 4 PM.

Tickets are available to Devils Members and the general public through the Devils site (NewJerseyDevils.com/beachbash) which will also have additional information as the event draws closer.

Fans are also encouraged to use the hashtag #NJDBeachBash to talk about the event on social media.

This is yet another example of how the new regime is trying to reach out to the community and get the Devils name “out there.” It is a good way to interact with fans and maybe even make new fans of young kids. Obviously, the current players cannot be there, as they are busy preparing for training camp around this time, but it is a nice thing for Devils fans and their families.
